Effective Monday March 02nd, 2020 at 7:00 AM Overland Police Dispatching services will transfer police dispatching to St. Louis County Police Communications.

There will be no change as to how you contact the Overland Police Department for police services. Dial 911 for emergencies and call 314-428-1212 for non emergency issues and it will automatically transfer to St. Louis County Police Communications. You can also dial 636-529-8210 which is their direct number.

To contact the Overland Police Department Administration Office during normal business hours, Dial 314-428-1221. If you call this number after hours or on holidays, you will get a menu of options. One option will be to transfer to police dispatch, another option will be to leave a voice message in the general police department voice mailbox, and another option will let you pick from a directory of people to leave a voicemail.

After hours or on weekends and holidays, there is a phone in the lobby that calls directly to police dispatch.  This is no different than the current call box in the lobby other than it is a phone.

THE OVERLAND POLICE DEPARTMENT IS STILL GOING TO RESPOND TO YOUR CALLS FOR SERVICE.  NO OTHER POLICE AGENCY IS TAKING OVER POLICE SERVICES.
