Positive Dog Training Fall 2019 Class

Are you interested in learning how to effectively change unwanted behavior with your canine without force or negative punishment? Then check out Overland's Positive Dog Training Class today! This class emphasizes the relationship/reward based training techniques through the use of positive reinforcement marker training. Learn how to understand and communicate with your dog to effectively change unwanted behavior without force or negative punishment. At the end if the class, each participant is eligible to take the American Kennel Club (AKC) Star Canine Good Citizen Test. This class meets will be held on Tuesdays at Wild Acres Banquet Hall from 6:30 – 8 pm for 7 weeks starting June 18th, 2019. Pre-registration is required at the Overland Community Center by June 3rd, 2019, which will include payment and proof of current vaccinations (Rabies, Bordetella, DHPP-Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvo, and parainfluenza.) The cost of the entire session is $35 for individuals with an Overland Community Center Membership and $45 for individuals without an Overland Community Center Membership. This class has 10 spots available and is open to all dogs 4 months and older. *Must have a minimum of 5 participants pre-registered in order to hold the class.
