Overland Crime Watch Stealing Misdemeanor: On 04-04-2008, a report was taken for a stolen picnic table and chairs from a residence in the 2600 block of Chaucer. Attempted Burglary: On 04-03-2008 a report was taken for a burglary that occurred in the 10200 block of Thorpe. A subject forced entry to a residence, however did not enter. Nothing was reported as missing. Cocaine Possession: On 04-04-2008, a subject was arrested in the 9700 block of Flora for outstanding warrants. A search incident to arrest revealed a baggy of a white powdery substance believed to be cocaine. Formal charges will be sought pending lab analysis. Stealing Felony: On Saturday 03-29-2008, a purse was reported to have been stolen from a residence in the 9900 block of Tam O Shanter. There is a suspect in this case. Burglary 1st/Felony Resisting Arrest: On Thursday, 03-27-2008, a subject allegedly assaulted a police officer then fled on foot in the area of Midland and Sims. During the course of searching for the suspect, he allegedly unlawfully entered 2 residences to resist arrest. He was later apprehended in the 9900 block of Dennison. Assault 2nd LEO: Warrants were obtained through the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorneys for Charles Williams of the 6000 block of Myron for the Charges of 2 Counts Assault 2nd LEO, Stealing a Motor Vehicle, and Armed Criminal Action. In Jan 2008 Williams allegedly stole a vehicle which resulted in a police vehicle pursuit. During the course of the pursuit, he rammed two police vehicles.
