Spring Adult Softball Leagues

The City of Overland will offer a 12 game Co-Ed Adult Softball Leagues Monday thru Thursday at a cost of $450.00 per team. All leagues will be recreational and do not include playoffs. League play will begin the week of April 7-10, 2014. Registration will be accepted starting February 25, 2014 at the Overland Community Center, 9225 Lackland Road, during normal business hours. To reserve you spot in our upcoming leagues a 50% deposit or full payment is required along with a completed registration form. All remaining league fees must be paid before your second game. A full, fabulous day of slots, roulette and cards is scheduled for Overland residents on Thursday April 24, 2014. Join us for a trip to the River City Casino in South City St. Louis and take advantage of round trip transportation, five hours of fun, and either a $10 Food Voucher for your restaurant of choice in the casino or 50% the buffet– all for only $15 per person!! The bus will depart from the Overland Community Center, 9225 Lackland Road, at 9:00 a.m. and return around 3:00 p.m. This trip is limited to the first 55 people who sign up at the Overland Community Center.  Your name, address, and date of birth will be needed at the time of registration. City of Overland Spring Clean Up

The "Spring Clean Up" will begin on Saturday April 26, 2014 from 8 am -12 pm at Legion Park (on West Milton behind Legion Park). Overland Identification is required to par-take in this event. Limitations on this event will consist of one (1) vehicle load per family. Box trucks are not allowed.

Items that will be accepted are the following: scrap iron or steel, Household Appliances, brush and tree limbs. There will also be a dumpster for all other items that you can no longer live with.

Some items that will NOT be accepted are the following: Hazardous materials, car parts, and electronics.

Trolling for Trash will be available for those who are disabled and need help, but sign up early because spaces are limited. Volunteers are needed to help with this event. Volunteer Applications are available at Overland City Hall. For more information or questions about this event, please contact Overland City Hall at 314-428-4321 during normal business hours.
