We welcome everyone at the Overland Community Center! As a member, you will have the opportunity to enjoy a wide range of amenities and services, including access to wi-fi, group fitness classes, racquetball, wallyball, basketball, volleyball, pickleball, a walking track, a dry heat sauna, a weight room, a cardio room, as well as discounts on programs and indoor facility rentals. Please see the details below for our various membership options.

Pick Your Choice of Three (3) Membership Options:

1. Standard Membership includes: access to Wi-Fi, two full size gymnasiums, elevated walking track, sauna, racquetball/wallyball court use (for an additional fee), pickleball court access, discounts on fitness classes/programs, and discounts on indoor facility rentals.
2. Weight Room Membership includes: access to the weight room and cardio room (orientation included),  Wi-Fi, two full size gymnasiums, elevated walking track, sauna, pickleball court access, racquetball/wallyball court use (for an additional fee), discounts on fitness classes/programs, and discounts on indoor facility rentals.
3. Silver Sneakers Membership includes: access to the weight room and cardio room (orientation included),  Wi-Fi, two full size gymnasiums, elevated walking track, sauna, pickleball court access, racquetball/wallyball court use (for an additional fee), discounts on fitness classes/programs, and discounts on indoor facility rentals. Membership is obtained by providing proof of your Silver Sneakers membership through Tivity Inc.

**Note: Overland Resident youth who are 12 years old may obtain an adult weight room membership for a fee of $65 and Overland Resident youth between the ages of 13 and 15 may acquire an adult weight room membership for $70. To be eligible, all youth members must be accompanied by a parent or guardian with a valid weight room membership at all times while inside the weight room. Additionally, orientation sessions and signed waivers for both the child and the parent or guardian are required and must be on file at the Center.

Obtaining a Membership Card for the First Time:

Overland Residents wishing to obtain a card at the resident rate, FOR THE FIRST TIME, are required to present their proof of residency. Such proof shall be a current occupancy permit, plus one (1) of the following: Current Missouri driver’s license or other Missouri I.D. or paid real estate or personal property tax receipt reflecting their Overland address. Overland Residents who do not wish to receive the resident rate can obtain a Non-Resident Membership Card. 

Non-Residents are individuals who do not reside in Overland, MO. To obtain a membership card, non-residents are required to present a photo ID in the form of a valid driver's license, military ID, passport, etc.

Children 17 years of age and under must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian to obtain a card and the same proof of residency and full fee will be required. The child must either live with or be under legal custody of the adult with whom the child comes to receive an identification card.

Overland Residents residing at their current residence prior to enactment of the occupancy permit requirement (January 13, 1975) shall not be required to show an occupancy permit and an alternate proof of residency shall be at the discretion of the City Clerk. 

Resident memberships in Overland are exclusively available to individuals who permanently reside at the property. Owners of residential property are only eligible if they meet this requirement. Otherwise, resident privileges are transferred to the property's renters.

First time Overland Resident Membership cards may be obtained at the Overland City Hall, 9119 Lackland Road or at the Overland Community Center, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. First time Non-Resident Membership cards may be obtained at the Overland Community Center. 

Renewing Your Membership Card:

Each membership card must be renewed annually from the original issuance date. Renewal of membership cards can be done at the Community Center or at the Overland City Hall. To renew one's membership card, individuals are required to present a valid photo ID such as a driver's license, military ID, passport, or any other acceptable form of identification. Overland Residents, in addition to a valid photo ID, must also provide proof of residency in the form of an occupancy permit, a paid real estate or personal property tax receipt that clearly shows their Overland address. Failure to provide proof of Overland residency upon renewal will result in being charged the non-resident membership rate.

Overland Business Membership:

Overland Business members are companies located within the City of Overland and are registered with Overland City Hall. A yearly fee of $50 is required to be paid by the company to Overland City Hall, allowing their employees to utilize the facilities at Overland Community Center for an additional fee. Silver Sneakers Membership:

Silver Sneakers provides individuals with the opportunity to access the weight room membership options at the Overland Community Center. These options include entry to the weight room and cardio room, with an orientation session included. Additional benefits of this membership include access to Wi-Fi, two fully equipped gymnasiums, an elevated walking track, a sauna, and the option to utilize the racquetball/wallyball court for a supplementary fee. Furthermore, members can receive member discounts on various fitness classes/programs as well as indoor facility rentals. The membership is valid for one year and can be renewed accordingly at the Overland Community Center. Guest Passes:

Valid Membership Cardholders are welcome to bring one guest per visit, who will be required to pay a nominal fee of $3 for adults and $2 for Youth/Seniors (seniors aged sixty-two (62) years and over) and children (age six (6) through twelve (12) years). The valid membership cardholder must be at least 18 years old to bring in a guest. All guests who are 16 years old or older must provide a physical photo identification card and sign a guest pass waiver before entering the facility as a guest of the member. Furthermore, the guest must actively participate in the same activities as the member and enter and exit the premises alongside the member. It is important to acknowledge that the member is responsible for their guest's conduct and actions.

Weight Room Orientation Policy:

All individuals interested in obtaining a Weight Room Membership & Silver Sneakers Membership must undergo a mandatory orientation with the designated orientation leader at the Community Center. This orientation will provide comprehensive instructions on the appropriate usage of equipment within the weight room and cardio room. Access to the weight room and cardio room will be restricted for those who have not completed this orientation. To schedule an orientation, kindly contact us at 314-428-0490.

Lost / Stolen Membership Cards:

Membership cards can be replaced for $5.00 at the Community Center or City Hall. To obtain a replacement card, you must provide a current Missouri driver’s license or other Missouri ID that matches the information in our system. If your card is lost, we recommend that you check with the Community Center’s Lost and Found before purchasing a new card. Membership cards are required for admission to the Community Center and use of its facilities or participation in any of its programs. 

Overland Family Weight Room Plan:

A family is defined as up to four (4) Overland residents who reside in the same household according to their occupancy permit on file at City Hall. The base plan is $140 for the Weight Room per year, which does not include the additional cost of $10 per family card holder going on this plan per year. Each card holder must retain the weight room for this family plan. Family Weight Room Membership Plans must be purchased at the same time and all members of the household shall be present a the time the Family Weight Room Membership is purchased. For your convenience, we suggest that you consider bringing your entire family together when it comes time to obtain their membership cards, after establishing your household. Once your family is registered in our system, it will greatly streamline the process for future renewals.

Photo Policy:

The parks and recreation department will occasionally capture images of individuals engaging in recreation programs or utilizing the facilities. These photographs may find their way into the department’s various publications, brochures, and flyers. It is important to note that all photos will be under the ownership of the department. If you do not wish to have your image published, kindly notify the photographer.
