Outdoor Christmas Light Display Contest

Are you interested in competing for the BEST Outdoor Christmas Light Display in Overland for 2025? Then enter your house in the City of Overland Christmas Light Display Contest and win cash prizes. 

Up to 25 applications will be accepted this year! All entries will be judged on December 11, 12 and 13 between the hours of 6-10 pm each night. Voters will submit their votes on paper by riding on one of our Christmas Light Trolley Tours OR electronically via their phones through the City’s Website. Winners will be announced by Christmas! 


All applications must be received by 7 pm on Dec 8th, 2025 in order to qualify. Entries are restricted to Overland residential houses only at this time. 

Applications will be accepted via: in person at the Overland Community Center, online, or via email at parksandrec@overlandmo.org. Winners will be announced by December 19th! For questions about entering the contest, please contact us at 314-428-0490.

We are pleased to announce the winners of the City of Overland's Annual Christmas Light Display Contest for the 2025 year. We had 6 eligible houses judged in our contest this year and each one looked great.

Our top three winners are the following:

First Place: 2116 Lackland Road 

Second Place: 1955 Northfield Drive 

Third Place: 9015 Argyle Avenue 

We want to thank everyone who participated in the contest this year and we look forward to providing this contest again next year!

Let the Judging Begin.....First Place 2023

Our applicants this year have spent a lot of time decorating their houses to compete in the City of Overland Outdoor Christmas Light Contest  2025. Please join us Dec 11, 12, or 13 between the hours of 6-10 pm each night  by clicking on the link below and judge your favorite displays this year. Winners will be announced by Dec 19th. **Only 1 entry per internet web browser on your device can be accepted. Multiple people may cast their votes but they will need to use different internet web browsers if using the same electronic device.

All paper judging sheets must be received by 7 pm on December 15, 2025. Paper judging sheets may be submitted one of the following ways:
